Natalia Kostaki is a Greek-Russian contemporary artist. She lives in Athens and is best known for her vivid, brightly –hued paintings that invite a broader understanding of symbolic paintings. She has developed her own unique visual aesthetic. Melding iconography, design, art-historical and mythological motifs, as well as personal experience, Natalia creates densely patterned works. Utilizing geometric shapes and colourful graphics, the artist achieves optically compelling visual effects.

A festive mood accompanies everything that is a bouquet. Be it a bunch of field flowers or carefully grown garden roses, be it a characteristic scent of a wine or perfume. It is a collection, a well-put and curated arrangement that has one aim – to please. Art often distresses, disturbs, and leaves an ambiguous impression. However, at times, a painting with its color bouquet simply pleases the senses, so that one feels desire awaken for the sensuous , for the voluptuous, and the overflowing in life.
