The main ability presented in Caterina Marouda’s work is that they have an authority of objective and unhindered performance. Being a color expert, as the Venetian artists of renaissance, Caterina Marouda uses it in order to create the third dimension and to enhance the subject with the use of adversative colors. The intense use of colors is balanced accomplishes to address both the human sentiment and reason.
Primavera. Becoming, blossoming, sprouting, flushing – everything but a static, anything but numbness or sleep, is spring. Spring is giving birth and being fulfilled in the vocation of a parent and caregiver. The newly emerged life always needs extra protection. But spring is so abundant that it can allow herself to lean back, watch and enjoy. Spring is so opulent that it will not prevent her rolling development if she halts and watches, and surrenders, well knowing that the force of becoming and passing away, growth and perishing, generation and perishing are the tandem that no optimism can ever disentangle
