Description

About the artwork: “Without…” by Sophia Papadopoulou are a series of mixed media paintings exploring interpersonal relationships, bonds formed with others and our emotions, as well as the experiences and relationships of childhood which greatly influence the development of the individual for their entire life. The title «Without…» was inspired by the “Ä Play in One Act and Act Without Words” by Samuel Becket. The Artist creates compositions which act as narratives in a world without time or space and from where escape is impossible and uses her own a gestural vocabulary in which each line and colour is infused with energy, spirituality and meaning.
