GROUP EXHIBITION OF ART ‘’LABYRINTH’’ 17 TH-27 TH OF JANOUARY 2018
In Greek mythology, the labyrinth was an elaborate, confusing structure designed and built
by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos. Its function was to
hold the Minotaur, the monster with the head of a bull and the body of a man.The Minotaur
was killed by the Athenian hero Theseus.
A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It represents a journey to our
own center and back again out into the world. Walking the labyrinth can be considered an
invitation in which one awakens the knowledge encoded within their DNA.
